Lisa B (Lisa Bernstein) covers Matisyahu's "Miracle" in a duet with the sparkling, multi-track guitar work of Andre Bush. The American Hasidic reggae artist Matisyahu released "Miracle" in Dec. 2010, returning with five new versions in Nov. 2011. A much-needed new Hanukkah / Chanukah song -- lovely and rousing -- it speaks in the voice of someone who is overtaken by his/her spiritual communication with God but still filled with the zeal to encourage all who are listening to keep searching and to trust that "him who searches will find." Filled with images of candles, fire, shining, sunrise, and light, "Miracle" reminds us of why we conjure up brightness during the dark time of the year.
